Major Financial services firm is seeking a Sr. Business Analyst.
A generalist needed for 6-month position for helping a migration effort. This quick-learner/self-starter will need to be able to hit the ground running and help with a well-documented process for migrating projects from one software package to another.
Requirements:
-Some knowledge of Excel
-Good knowledge of Windows best practices
-Identify, plan and execute process improvement initiatives.
-Implement relevant industry best practices into the company
-Set goals and execute projects to achieve process improvements
-Conduct data analysis to support recommended and assigned projects
-Facilitate or participate in cross-functional teams to analyze and document existing business processes
-Align with the overall IT Governance Roadmap
-Does impact analysis to align with system changes
Extensive Database experience working with large scale enterprise environments. Have an in depth understanding of where, when, and why to distribute a database/warehouse across multiple locations, and the implications to common services of such a decision. Must be familiar with ETL tools such as ETI, Informatica, etc.
